Anaesthetic gels and skin treatments

The use of anaesthetic gels in Laser tattoo removal and other non invasive skin treatments, needs to be treated with caution. There is a remote possibility of an adverse reaction or overdose to the Lidocaine / prilocaine in the gel. Any sign of the following _ nervousness, tingling around the mouth (also known as circumoral paraesthesia ), tinnitus , tremor, dizziness, blurred vision, seizures followed by depression, drowsiness, loss of consciousness, respiratory depression and apnoea .
