The process of Laser tattoo removal relies on the bodies immune system to flush away the tiny fragments of ink that are created by the Lasers light energy and sound energy during a Laser treatment. We advise a minimum 6 weeks between sessions to let this happen. After session 3 or 4, I suggest 8 weeks between sessions and then keep increasing the time, with each session. 2 reasons ... this allows the maximum flush of ink to occur before retreating the area and also allows the skin to heal and settle from the last session. Heat is generated during a laser tattoo removal treatment which traumatizes and damages the skin deep at the dermis layer where the ink is deposited. Deep scarring and textural changes can form. The extended time between sessions allows the skin to regenerate and realign. Happy fading/removal
